Anyone who knows me well will have heard me speak about Eminem. My admiration for him is about deep respect for his journey. Abandoned by his father as a child, and a public volatile relationship with his mother,  Eminem's turbulent upbringing was a cauldron of drugs, alcohol, and abuse. 

By any account, Eminem should be dead, in jail, or lost in obscurity. Yet, against all odds, he has defied expectations to become one of the most iconic figures in music and a leader whose journey offers profound lessons. Whether you love or hate his music, his lyrics, or his approach, Eminem's triumph over adversity, generational trauma, and societal barriers has created an enduring legacy.

Watching clips and coverage of his interactions with his daughter Hailie at her wedding stirs a deep well of emotions. The pride his children have in Eminem as a man and as a father surpasses any music award or Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
